Jan. 25: School and Community Involvement, Patriot Wrestling

Here's what's happening Tuesday in Three Village.

Grownups and teens alike can get involved in the community today, each with a meeting just right for them. Speaking of meetings, a wrestling match has the potential to be a hot one today, with two top teams facing off in an end-of-season dual meet.

1. The Three Village Board of Education will meet at 8 p.m. at the . Members of the community are invited to attend and speak publicly about their concerns, so it's a good opportunity to get the school board's attention on matters you feel are important.

2. Teens who want to get involved in the community can attend the at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library at 4:30 p.m.

3. Sachem East (8-4) travels to Ward Melville (8-2) for one of the final regular-season Ward Melville, which started the season on a seven-match winning streak and recently saw coach , will look to complete a sweep of both Sachem teams after beating Sachem North a few weeks ago. 4. If you enjoy creative writing or want to improve your writing skills, "Write Here!" may be for you. Bring a notebook and pen and get ready to try stimulating writing exercises and share your work with the class. The workshop starts at 1 p.m. at the Setauket Neighborhood House and costs $12 per session.
