Jan. 18: School Board, Women's Hoops, Storytime

Here's what's happening Tuesday in Three Village.

Hope you enjoyed your Monday off. It's back to school and back to work on Tuesday, and here's what's happening in Three Village.

1. The Three Village Central School District will hold its first board of education meeting of 2011, set for 8 p.m., to make up for the meeting canceled due to last week's snow storm.

2. Another event postponed from last Tuesday because of snow is the Ward Melville winter choir and orchestra concert, set for 7:30 p.m. at the high school. If the school's in December was any indication of the level of talent, it's sure to be a grand affair.

3. The Stony Brook women's basketball team will play its first game with interim head coach Evelyn Thompson at the helm, following former coach Michele Cherry's . The Seawolves look to snap a 10-game losing streak when they at 7 p.m.

4. Tuesday's lineup of events at includes three storytime sessions, one at 10:15 a.m. and one at 11:100 a.m. for toddlers, and one 1:15 p.m. for preschoolers, as well as "Bridge Basics II" at 10 a.m., an Excel class at 7 p.m. and Travel Slide Club at 7:30 p.m. Call 631-941-4080 for more information.
