Feb. 17: Enter a Talent Show, Catch a Concert for a Cause

Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

If Thursdays on Patch feel a little like watching a television network, it's because it's must-see kinda stuff: today you'll find a weekend planner, photo slideshow, restaurant review and more. Here are a few other important things to keep in mind:

1. You can suggest restaurants and other things for us to write about – and in fact we want you to do just that – as well as add events for us to use in our planners. It's as easy as sending an e-mail to the editor.

2. The deadline is Friday for kids and teens to enter the Ward Melville Heritage Organization's competition. If you haven't already put together your audition package, there's still time to get it done. Read more details on the competition .

3. There's another talent show of sorts audition happening across town. No audition is required for , so just show up, sign up, and get up to sing. Starts at 10:30 p.m., but get there early.

4. Head over to for its "Concert for a Cause" at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 apiece and proceeds go to research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
