Feb. 1: Wine, No. 99, and a Gelinas Milestone

UPDATE (10:30 a.m.): The wine event at the library has been rescheduled to March 31, but you can still at Stony Brook University.

On the table for Tuesday: a lecture on wine (Get it? Wine on the table? Trying too hard? Yeah, you're right.) at the library, and beer specials at the Velvet Lounge. Good thing the rest of our "5 Things" for Tuesday doesn't have much to do with alcohol.

1. Learn about wine at the library at 7 p.m., when a Stony Brook about the history and variety of wine along with how to pair it properly with food. And once you've learned all that, check out Patch's

4. Comedian Aziz Ansari was scheduled to perform to a sold-out crowd at the Staller Center at 8 p.m. – but it has been postponed due to the threat of a winter storm. According to the undergraduate student government website, tickets will still be valid for the performance when it is rescheduled.
