Dec. 22: Winter Commencement, "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

Here's what's happening Wednesday in Three Village.

As Christmas inches closer, there's so much to do. Have you visited the tree at Stony Brook Village Center or made paper snowflakes yet? Have you watched your favorite Christmas specials on TV? Here are five more things you can see or do.

1. More than 2,300 students will graduate from Stony Brook University at 1 p.m., sent forth into the real world with a commencement address from university president Samuel Stanley Jr. Patch will be there to tell the story.

2. Show that little tree some love. The Ward Melville High School Players will perform "A Charlie Brown Christmas" at 6 p.m. in the school's LGI Theater.
