Here's what's happening Friday in Three Village.

You have no reason whatsoever to claim boredom on Friday in Three Village. Between movies, music, sports and theater, there's tons to do.

1. Catch , the monthly coffeehouse event at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook. Her music has drawn comparisons to Fiona Apple and Tori Amos, among others. Tickets are $12.50.

2. Head to to watch a cross-town boys' basketball rivalry unfold between the Bears and the Patriots of Ward Melville. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

3. The Friday afternoon matinee at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library is (admittedly, one of this Patch editor's favorite flicks). It's a good one for this time of year. Showtime is 2 p.m.
