Bird is the Word at Local Park
Geese, ducks, and other birds are plentiful at WMHO park.
Tuesday afternoon, the Bentivenga and Collins families of Holbrook came to the lake across from the Stony Brook Grist Mill in search of the huge turtle who lives there. Instead, they found birds – tons of them.
"We didn't actually know there would be this many kinds of birds here," said Carter Bentivegna, 9. "It's pretty cool, actually."
