Shore Road between Route 25A and the boat launch in East Setauket used to be an utter mess in the rain, and until early 2012 could have been the unanimous choice for the spot with the worst puddles in town. But work completed by May of 2012 to raise the road and install drains for stormwater runoff seems to have worked.
