The Millrose Games, in its 107th year, is an indoor track and field event that features Olympic and world champions, world record holders and top high school athletes. The event was held on Saturday, Feb 15, at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory, in Manhattan.
Lucy Van Dalen, formerly an SBU track athlete, participated in the 2012 London Olympics and ran the 1500m. Lucy was chosen as an NCAA All-American for outdoor track (2010, 2011 and 2012), indoor track (2011 and 2012), and cross-country (2011).
Lucy ran the 3000m at the 2014 Millrose Games and came in 6th with a time of 8:53:95.
