10 New Arrivals at the Library

Check out – literally – these new DVDs at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library.

Dreary weather outside makes a perfect climate for a good movie night. Here are the latest movie arrivals at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library:

  • Scooby Doo! Music of the Vampire (children's) Directed by David Flock. Daphne stars in a vampire movie, but mayhem arrives when a real vampire shows up – and the gang gets to work investigating.
  • Awesome Adventures, Vol. I: Rescue Friends (children's) A collection of animated adventures from favorite children's characters such as Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine, and more.
  • The Chipette Diaries (children's). The Chipettes team up with Alvin and the Chipmunks in a musical adventure.
  • Pippi Longstocking: Pippi's High Sea Adventures (children's). An installment from the beloved children's series.
  • Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention (children's). A collection of TV episodes exploring real-life inventions with the classic children's characters.
  • Jack and Jill (family). Starring Adam Sandler as Jack – and Jill – in a Thanksgiving dinner full of shenanigans. Also stars Al Pacino, Katie Holmes, and David Spade.
  • Fireflies in the Garden (adults). Following a tragic accident, the realities of what at first appears to be a successful American family come to light. Starring Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, and other well-known talent.
  • Moneyball (adults). Highly acclaimed story of a baseball manager who uses a computer algorithm to draft players. Starring Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
  • My Week with Marilyn (adults/Blu-Ray format). An ambitious young film director exposes Marilyn Monroe to what lies beyond the glamour of Hollywood fame. Starring Michelle Williams and Kenneth Branagh.
  • The Descendants (adults). An indifferent man re-evaluates his life and re-establishes a relationship with his daughters after his wife suffers an accident. Starring George Clooney and Beau Bridges.
