No Challengers Emerge for Board of Ed Seats

Incumbents are only ones to file nominating petitions, according to district clerk.

Two incumbent Board of Education members will face no opposition in next month's vote to fill their expiring seats, as they were the only two individuals to file petitions with the district clerk.

Both School Board Vice President Jonathan Kornreich and Trustee Susanne Mendelson will run unopposed, barring a competitive write-in campaign.

The deadline to file petitions for the unpaid positions was Monday; the vote takes place on May 21.
