Lara Herscovitch at Grounds and Sounds Cafe

Grounds and Sounds Café, the monthly live music coffee house in East Setauket, NY, will feature the pure musical poetry of Lara Herscovitch.  Herscovitch’s music is an original blend of modern acoustic/folk with blues, jazz, and pop influences. With a voice one critic described as “clear and smooth like expensive liquor,” Lara has become a force on the folk scene of the northeast with a winning stage presence that charms audiences while she makes them sit up and listen to songs of personal and social meaning.

Sign-up for the Open Mic begins at 7:30 p.m.  Grounds and Sounds is sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook a non-profit religious organization.
