Emma S. Clark Library to be at represented at Health & Wellness Fair

Deidre L.Doran, Adult Reference Librarian, and Marcela Lenihan, Children's Librarian, will represent Emma S. Clark Library at the 6th Annual 5k Run/Walk and Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 20th from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at R. C. Murphy Junior High School.  The library’s table will include a sampling of our health and wellness resources available to patrons including books, periodicals, DVDs, and databases.  And with a valid library card, some of the items may even be checked out right there at the fair!  There will also be information on our upcoming children and adult programs with a focus on health and wellness issues.  Additionally, we will be demonstrating our e-books and our new mobile app – the library is available to the public online 24/7!

Contractors for Kids and The Three Village School District sponsor this annual event, which includes a 5k Run/Walk and a wide assortment of vendors.  R. C. Murphy Junior High School is located at 351 Oxhead Road in Stony Brook.  The library is thrilled to be a part of this free community event.
