Located along Main Street, East Setauket Pond Park gives residents a small place to make a quick stop for a moment ofMore peace and serenity. The park features a historic wooden bridge, a gazebo and a short walking trail.

While the park is named for the pond, it's actually an inlet extension of Setauket Harbor.

Its most recognizable feature is the gaggle of geese that call Pond Park home. In late spring, it's a great place to watch just-hatched goslings wade in the still water. Just don't get too close to the mother—since like all overprotective new mothers, she might just come after overcurious visitors.

The park also includes several playground sites, featuring swings, jungle gyms, teeter-totters and slides.

A covered picnic area is a great spot to enjoy lunch while the little ones frolic.

Includes a concession hut used during baseball games.

The park is run by the Town of Brookhaven.
