I'm looking forward to seeing "my" chefs & growers from my book, The Hamptons &Read More Long Island Homegrown Cookbook. I will provide some background about the making of the book, why locally grown food is best & a reading from the book's profiles about each of the featured chefs: Tom Schaudel, Lia Fallon & Guy Reuge. And can't wait for farmer Scott Chaskey to auction those priceless vegetables! And oh-the tastings from the chefs' homegrown recipes will be amazing .... See you at Stony Brook Rooftop Farm. Leeann. "It’s a rewarding experience for us to give an opportunity for the kids and watch themRead More enjoy the things we have that they don’t have...". I believe that the experience can inspire them; these are "things" they CAN have - can strive towards should they choose to. Whether or not those goals are attained, the impetus towards attainment will serve the children in general.
