The Setauket Presbyterian Church was established in 1660. After a fire destroyed the original building in 1811, the church was rebuilt in 1812. Today the Setauket Presbyterian Church is a modern institution steeped in history and faith, with a wide variety of educational programs, social and cultural activities and mission and outreach work. The Steeple News, the church newsletter, is published nine times per year and the church also maintains a Web site full of news and information.
