$1M Winning Lottery Ticket Purchased in Three Village Remains Unclaimed

Ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven on Pond Path in East Setauket.

There are 12 winning lottery tickets in New York state this year that have gone unclaimed and one of them was bought right here in Three Village.

A winning ticket for the Nov. 26 Mega Millions drawing, worth $1 million, was sold at the 7-Eleven on Pond Path in East Setauket. According to lottery officials, the ticket has gone unclaimed.

"A lucky individual’s holiday season could be vastly improved – and they don’t know it yet,” said Gardner Gurney, Acting Director of the Division of the Lottery. 

Another ticket sold in nearby Mt. Sinai also remains unclaimed. The winning ticket was sold for the July 13, 2013 Powerball drawing, which carried a $1 million prize, and was bought at Carry-All Wine & Liquor, 5507 Nesconset Highway, Mount Sinai.

There are sure to be scores more of lottery hopefuls with Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot, which has jumped to $636 million.
