The Week Ahead: School Board, Senior Awards, Long Island Ducks

School is winding down in Three Village, with end-of-year awards and a few last bits of business to take care of. Also this week: a special performance by two of our musical groups. 

1. The Presidential Community Service Awards are Monday at 7 p.m. at the high school, and the Athletic Awards are Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Meadow Club.

2. The Three Village Board of Education will hold its second-to-last meeting of the 2013-14 school year on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at North Country Administration Center.

3. Also on Tuesday, the band and orchestra groups from Arrowhead and Minnesauke will head to Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip to perform at the Long Island Ducks baseball game. Tickets are still available at http://www.liducks.com/.

4. For those who are community service oriented, the Three Village Kiwanis regularly meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays at Mario's in East Setauket.
