The Week Ahead: Child ID Cards, School Board, Coffee Hour

A look at what lies ahead in the Three Village community this week.

School's out; note that final marks for students in grades 7 through 12 will be available on the Three Village parent portal starting at noon on Monday. Here are a few other important items of note this week:

1. Summer drivers' ed classes hosted by the Three Village school district begin on Tuesday. 

2. Emma S. Clark Memorial Library is offering free laminated ID cards for kids. Head to the library on Tuesday between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. or on Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; no registration necessary.

3. The Three Village Board of Education will meet for the final session of the 2012-13 school year. The meeting is set for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

4. The Three Village Chamber of Commerce will hold a free coffee hour on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Stony Brook University's Indoor Sports Complex.

5. The Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation, which honors a local firefighter who passed away, will host its first-ever fire training seminar at Brookhaven National Laboratory this coming weekend. For more information about this event, visit http://joeydfoundation.org/.
