School Board Meeting, Emergency Readiness Seminar Coming This Week

Take a look at what's happening this week in the Three Village community.

Good morning, Three Villagers, and welcome to a brand-new week. Let's make it a good one. Here are some things to get you started.

- The Three Village Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Country Administration Center.

- On Monday at 5:30 p.m., The Village Times Herald will hold its "Taste of the Three Village" fundraiser in honor of late editor Lee Lutz to benefit the scholarship fund in his name. The event will feature some of Long Island's most popular eateries. Tickets: $50. 

- The school district's continuing education programs begin today. Click here for the brochure and call 631-730-4389 for more information.

- Suffolk Legis. Kara Hahn, D-Setauket, will host an emergency preparedness seminar for residents who want to become better-prepared in case another big storm hits. The seminar is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library.

- Get ready to laugh: the Ward Melville Players will perform their annual improv comedy show on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. (tickets $10).
