Board of Ed and Civic Association Meeting in the Week Ahead

Here's what's coming up this week in Three Village.

Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook
On Monday, the Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook's general membership meeting will focus on the local real estate scene. 

Laura Rittenberg, President of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Long Island and Janet Smiley, Branch Manager of the local Setauket Coldwell Banker real Estate office will be speaking about the trends in the real estate market place on Long Island, and in particular,  the Three Village area.  Alexia Poulos of Douglas Elliman (formerly, Prudential Douglas Elliman) of the Setauket office will be speaking on the many things to consider when selling or buying a home in the Three Village area. 7:30 p.m. in the Emma S. Clark's Community Room.  All are invited to attend.

Board of Education Meeting
The Three Village Board of Education will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Country Administration building.

Answers to your computer & mobile device questions
Local teen volunteers will be available in the Computer Lab of Emma Clark Library to answer your computer questions and help you learn how to use your mobile devices including cell phones, tablets, and e-readers. Tuesday, Emma Clark Library between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Discussion of Gypsy: the Musical
Considered by many to be one of the greatest musicals ever created,Gypsy has had many lives:  on Broadway four times, in London and Chicago, as a film, and as a television adaptation. Professor Kolb, who has just directed Gypsy at Hofstra University, will examine the various productions and performers through video and audio clips. Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. Emma Clark Library.

Facebook Fundamentals
Thursdays, January 9 & 16 at 7:00 p.m. Emma Clark Library.
Are you curious about Facebook? Would you like to set up an account but don't know where to begin? In this two-part class, we'll show you how to create a Facebook account, post on your timeline, upload photos, and much more! Prior to the first class, you'll need to save a photo on a flash drive (JPEG format) that you would like to upload onto your Facebook page and bring the flash drive to class.
