With Help From Fire Department, Santa Rides Through Town

Setauket Fire Department Hook and Ladder Co. held its annual Santa Run on Saturday.

The Setauket Fire Department's Hook and Ladder Co. 1 spent last Saturday afternoon delivering holiday cheer in the form of its annual Santa Run, touring Three Village with Santa Claus on a truck outfitted with a special sleigh.

According to the department's Santa Run Facebook page, a early in the morning delayed the tour's start time. However, when the firefighters did make their way through town, it appeared to be a hit.

"Seeing Santa on the fire truck was the highlight of my 3 year old son's year!" said Cheryl Ann Koral. "Even after Santa and the trucks left our block, he sat at the window with his grandfather's binoculars trying to see the other blocks."
