PHOTO: Car Wash Pops Up on Arrowhead Lane

Four enterprising 12-year-olds have started a summer business.

For these four incoming Murphy Junior High seventh graders, it's all about paintball. Chris Stellwagen, Frank Cassano Jr., Ryan Caltabiano, and John Caltabiano needed to find a way to support their favorite pastime – paintball – so they started a car wash at the Cassano residence on Arrowhead Lane in East Setauket north of Route 347. Charging $5 a car, and supervised by Frank Cassano Sr., they raised $60 on their first day alone. Their official business hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. So if your car needs washing, you know where to go – and help some kids have some good, clean fun.
