Where Will Miguel Maysonet Be Taken in the 2013 NFL Draft?

Where will Stony Brook running back Miguel Maysonet be drafted this weekend?

The 2013 NFL Draft kicked off Thursday night with a first round highlighted by offensive lineman and defenders, with only one quarterback, two wide receivers and no running backs taken.

Stony Brook is eagerly awaiting to see where Miguel Maysonet, a Riverhead High School product who played three standout seasons as a running back at Stony Brook University, ends up.

Maysonet ran 40-yard dash times of 4.45, 4.49 and 4.56 – which he couldn't do at the NFL combine in February due to a hamstring injury. Newsday reported that he also impressed NFL scouts with his bench press (225 pounds 21 times), short shuttle time (4.01 seconds), vertical jump (31-1/2 inches) and broad jump (8-9 and 8-11).

Most projections have him going anywhere from the end of round 5 through round 7, depending on team needs and placement.

Where do you think Maysonet will be drafted and to which team? Will you be watching to track the Stony Brook star? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
