Ward Melville Football Opens Season on Wednesday
Patriots will play a 4 p.m. game at home against Half Hollow Hills East.

Ward Melville, which finished the regular season at 5-4 in 2012, opens its 2013 season against Half Hollow Hills East at home at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Patriots are coming off a playoff appearance in 2012, their first in more than 20 years.
Ward Melville's last meeting with Hills East resulted in a 46-42 win for the Patriots in September of 2012. Hills East finished 1-7 last season.
