Three Village Scoreboard: Ward Melville Boys Win Invitational Race

Boys' and girls' teams remain undefeated in league races.

Five top 10 finishers at the Tom Knipfling Invitational on Saturday propelled the Ward Melville boys' cross country team to a first-place finish. Alex Fitzgerald (third), Lloyd Webb (fifth), Christian Welch (sixth), Vincent Cicale (seventh), and Paul Thompson (ninth) locked up a team score of 30. East Meadow finished in second place with a team score of 73.

On Tuesday, Ward Melville went on to beat Lindenhurst, 22-38, and stay undefeated in league meets this season. The Ward Melville girls' squad, also unbeaten in league meets, beat Connetquot on Tuesday, 24-33.

It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!
