Senior Taryn Schoenbeck and sophomore Regan Bosnyak set up freshman Stella Norman to score the game-winning goal with 3:39 left on Sunday in the Stony Brook women's soccer win over Yale. Junior Larissa Nysch scored the first goal for the Seawolves, who walked away with a four-game winning streak after a 0-1-1 start to the season. Coach Sue Ryan pointed to senior leadership and fresh talent as the key components in the win: "I think we're getting great leadership from our seniors right now. ... If you meld that with our freshmen coming in and having a huge impact on our team, as well as our depth and our ability to play more players than our opponents, it really helps us to be successful in these games."
