Johns Hopkins defeats Stony Brook, 19-9.

Second-seeded Johns Hopkins scored three unassisted goals in under four minutes and led by six after one quarter, en route to a 19-9 victory over Stony Brook in a first-round NCAA men's lacrosse playoff game.

Stony Brook's highlights included a career-best four-point game for sophomore Matt Bellando, including three goals. Senior Russ Bonanno scored twice and senior Sean Brady made nine saves in their final games for the Seawolves.

"I'm real proud of this team for fighting through the adversity in a transition year," head coach Jim Nagle said via GoSeawolves.org. "We weren't quite ready to compete at this level."
