SBU's Cantwell Drafted by Baltimore Orioles
West Islip product becomes second Seawolf to be taken in this year's draft.
Stony Brook University junior Pat Cantwell was the latest Seawolf to join teammate Nick Tropeano as a chosen member of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft.
Cantwell, a teammate of Tropeano since their days at West Islip High School, was selected in the 39th round (1175th overall) by the Baltimore Orioles.
Cantwell is coming off a 2011 season in which he received First-Team All-America East honors. The Seawolves finished 42-12 and Cantwell started every game as the No. 1 catcher.
