SBU Draws Miami in NCAA Baseball Tourney

Seawolves earn a No. 4 seed in college baseball bracket, facing the top regional seed at the Hurricanes' home field on Friday.

After , the Stony Brook baseball team found out Monday that it will be competing in the 64-team NCAA baseball tournemant, with a shot to make it into the College World Series.

The 64 teams are split up into 16 double-elimination, regional tournaments. Drawing a No. 4 seed, the Seawolves will take on four-time national champion and No. 1 seed University of Miami on its home turf, at Alex Rodriguez Park.

The Seawolves bring a 46-11 record into its Friday night game against the Hurricanes, who finished 36-21 and lost to Georgia Tech in the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.

Also in the Coral Gables regional are No. 2 seed, University of Central Florida (43-15), and No. 3 seed, Missouri St. (39-20).
