Poll: Olympics or Pro Sports?

With the Olympics starting on Wednesday, will you be more in tune to the Games, or pro sports?

For some, watching the thrill of someone who plays the game without financial reward is what sports is all about. For others, growing up cheering for their favorite team is just that - rooting for the home team, through good years and bad.

As the Olympics kick off Wednesday and opening ceremonies start on Friday, and grew up with dreams of one day winning a gold medal, and will have their chance in coming weeks.

What we're curious is, will you be watching? Or will you have your pulse on the MLB trade deadline, the Mets losing streak, the PGA tour or NFL training camp?

What do you prefer: amateur or professional sports? Take our survey and let us know why.

I lost interest in the Olympics when it lost amateur status and become a full time professional sport and drug use became rampant. It has become a win at all costs event. Also coverage is limited to specific events and athletes. It's painful to watch the Mets and PGA is boring. I'll just shut the tv and get outside and bike ride or play golf.

Love it! What professional sports does for me is it inspires me and my business. I mean these guys and gals work so hard and committed to reaching there goals. Maybe thats it is that they have a plan on getting to their goals. Anyways, great post!
