Team tops Smithtown Stampede in the summer league championship.
The Three Village Patriots 13U baseball team earned 14-4 and 9-3 wins over the Smithtown Stampede to take the NJBL Summer Travel League championship on Saturday. Neil Alvarez of Port Jefferson and Vinny Roselli of Setauket each started games for the Patriots, who finished the season in first place with a 19-7 record.
