Miguel Maysonet, Former SBU Football Star, Lands on Colts Practice Squad
The undrafted free agent arrives at Indianapolis after spending time with the Eagles and Browns.
Miguel Maysonet, who helped propel Stony Brook's football program into the spotlight over the past three seasons since his transfer from Hofstra, has been signed to the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad.
The NBC Sports blog Pro Football Talk reports that Maysonet's signing came six days after a workout with the team.
Maysonet, a product of Riverhead who graduated from Stony Brook in 2013, is an undrafted free agent who spent time with the Eagles and Browns in the preseason before landing with the Colts. NBC Sports reports that he is the only running back on the team's practice squad.
