Sports Flash: Maysonet Scores 3 TDs, Sets School Record for Longest Run

Stony Brook rushed to its first win with a 49-17 victory over Central Connecticut on Saturday at LaValle Stadium, the team's first season-opening win since 2008. Senior Miguel Maysonet (Riverhead, NY) scored three touchdowns – the sixth time he has done so in one game for Stony Brook – and his 84-yard run in the first quarter set a school record for the longest TD run in Stony Brook's history as a Division I school.

Seriously? We are asked to send in enough supplies per kid each year to supply 5 kids. Where does it…Read More all go? It gets lost, thrown out, or ends up back in the students home via backpack. The problem is not the lack of supplies, but a lack of personal responsibility. But if we send in enough supplies each year for ten or fifteen students, then we might be able to avoid the underlying problem.
