Maysonet Joins Redskins Practice Squad
Washington is the sixth NFL team for the Riverhead native.
Former Stony Brook University running back, Miguel Maysonet, was signed to the Washington Redskins practice squad Tuesday.
According to Newsday, Washington is the sixth NFL team for Maysonet.
This past spring, Maysonet became the first-ever Stony Brook University athlete to be invited to the NFL scouting combine, and while he had hoped he would be drafted, he was later signed as an undrafted free agent by the Eagles.

Recently named "Male Co-Athlete of the Year" at Stony Brook, Maysonet owns the all-time school rushing record at Stony Brook and was a finalist for the Walter Payton Award given to the best player in the NCAA's Football Championship Subdivision.
