Ward Melville High School’s Science Bowl Team won the Brookhaven Lab Regional High School Science Bowl and will now be competing at the National Science Bowl competition this May in Washington, D.C. The national events are comprised of several days of science activities and competitions.
The Science Bowl is a fast-paced competition in which students answer questions in physics, chemistry, earth and space science, energy, math and biology. The district congratulates team members senior Eidan Jacob, senior Harrison Li, sophomore Rajiv Moturu, senior Akilesh Tangella and junior Jake Welde as well as team coach Robert Spira.
