Students Collect Change to Support Children's Hospital

Kids at Setauket Elementary celebrate their efforts with Wolfie.

Students at Setauket Elementary School this week wrapped up their "Change for Children" campaign, which raised $2,000 for Stony Brook Children's Hospital.

The student council contributed approximately $500, bringing the total raised to $2,500.

Students celebrated with Stony Brook University mascot Wolfie, who led the school's band in a rendition of "Let's Go Band." Setauket principal Kathryn White called Stony Brook Children's Hospital "our neighbor."

"Your generosity is an inspiration to all other children, and your efforts will help children just like you," White said.
