Seawolf Spotlight: Stony Brook Fans Come in All Ages

Wes Silverman, age 8, loves coming to Stony Brook basketball games.

Stony Brook fans come in all ages, and two of the Seawolves' biggest fans are Wes Silverman, age 8, and his grandfather Mark, who have season tickets at Pritchard Gym. Patch had the chance to chat with Wes on Tuesday during halftime at the men's basketball team's 75-48 win over Boston University. "I like coming to the games. It's exciting," he said.

Fan gear: Wes is the proud owner of a red Seawolves t-shirt signed by all the members of the men's basketball team – including his favorite player, Tommy Brenton.

Hoops close to his heart: Not only does Wes enjoy watching basketball, but he also enjoys playing, and was an eager participant in the Stony Brook basketball camp this past summer.
