SBU Library Collection Garners National Recognition

The Scout Report lauds the Digital Long Island Collection.

A Stony Brook University collection of digital materials documenting Long Island history has received national recognition from The Scout Report, a project of the National Science Foundation.

Its curators "have created this most excellent research guide and digital archive that covers all things Long Island," according to The Scout Report.

The collection focuses on Long Island history between the American Revolution through the War of 1812. It includes dated between 1779 and 1780 that detailed spy ring activities in Setauket.
