R.C. Murphy Junior High School ninth-grader Maggie Axelsen has become a published author, as her poem “The Moon” was featured on Teen Ink, a national online teen literary magazine.
Maggie’s piece was written in the first person and focused on how the moon can be viewed by different people. In addition to being featured on the site, the piece was voted fourth in the Reader’s Choice Awards.
