Question of the Day: Are You Satisfied With The Election Results?
More than 6,000 residents voted in Tuesday's election. Did the district get it right?
The vote is in and the district has spoken. When the dust settled after 15 hours of voting at five area elementary schools Tuesday, Irene Gische, Jeffrey Kerman, Inger Germano and Deanna Bavlnka were elected into the four open spots on the Three Village school board. In addition, the proposed $174.6 million budget passed with 59 percent of the vote.
More of you spoke: According to Assistant Superintendent for Business Jeff Carlson, more people turned out for this year's budget vote than last year. How do you feel about the results though? Is the district in a better position today than it was yesterday?
