Of the 17 students chosen for U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop's "student advisory council," several are from local communities.
United States Rep. Tim Bishop, D-Southampton, met with a group of student leaders called the Student Advisory Council on Oct. 19. The students, from high schools across the First Congressional District, discussed with Bishop topics such as the federal budget, Occupy Wall Street, and more.
