Girls Swim Team Remains the Biggest Fish in the Sea
This is the 22nd consecutive county championship win for Ward Melville's girls swim.
The Ward Meliville Girls Swim Team swam to victory for a consecutive 22nd time last Saturday at the Suffolk County Championship meet at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood.
The girls swept three events; the 200 medley relay, the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay. If that weren't enough, swimmers Casey Gavigan, Sarah Schoenfeld, Casssandra Willie, and Rachael Bertini broke a school record when they took the 200 medley, according to the Times Beacon Record.
