Free Marine/Atmospheric Sciences Open House
Save the Date! Come to Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences Open House on Saturday, September 24, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There’s something for everyone at this fun-filled event on the South Campus of the University. Enjoy fish-printing and face-painting, a touch tank,  environmental mural painting, research boat tours, a marine electronics wizardry exhibit, morning and afternoon public lectures, marine-theme costumed actors, a weather forecast exercise, environmental quiz show games, laboratory tours and research exhibits, information on marine and atmospheric sciences as a career, and an “Ask the Expert” booth.
