Districtwide Parent Forum - Substance Abuse & Bullying Prevention

Hosted at Ward Melville High School let's work together and keep kids safe!  Please plan to attend an informational parent forum focused on keeping your kids safe in a culture filled with cyber bullying, substance use, and peer pressure. After a panel discussion on the topics above, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following hour-long workshops:

Party Smarts: Learn how to protect yourself and your children when hosting a party or when your children attend a party.

Saying No to Drugs: Learn the tools necessary to help keep your children drug and alcohol free.

Navigating the Social Network: Learn how to protect your children from cyber bullying and peer pressure.

Signs and Symptoms: Learn how to recognize the signs of substance use and abuse and the prevention and treatment resources available to those in need.
