Morning Tech Talk - Wednesday: Technology can be frustrating!

While technology can be frustrating, there's an outlet for help and assistance.

Let's call it what it is... Technology, can at times be very frustrating. What's this article about you ask? Limiting your frustration and giving you an outlet for your questions.

If you're anything like me, you've become anxious, maybe even enraged with technology at times. I can't tell you how many times I've uttered the words "It should just be simpler", or "It's 2013 for Pete's sake and we're still dealing with this!" Yes, we are is the answer, and who the heck is this Pete guy anyway? :)

While technology can be frustrating, I would like you to know that there is a place you can learn about how technology is changing, how to use it, and most certainly how to feel more comfortable with it. The place? It's the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library and we're just around the corner. Afraid of dipping in the smart phone pool? Maybe email drives you crazy, or that ebook just won't download correctly. Whatever the case, we are here to help. We'll show you the little tweaks and adjustments that can make your "tech life" so much easier. We offer classes on general computer use, office applications, mobile devices and even have one-on- one training available.

If you don't see a class that fits your needs, please tell us and we'll put it on the list. Our goal is to serve the patrons and community with an outstretched arm of help and assistance. You can email us directly with some of your technology challenges and we'll get through them together.
