Afternoon Tech Talk: Samsung Releases the Long Awaited Galaxy S IV

Latest Samsung smart phone to hit market in May - Samsung Galaxy SIV!

If you've been following our tech blog, or watched a commercial in the last 2 years, you'll understand when I tell you that Samsung's Galaxy SIII is the best selling android smart phone on the planet. With over 40 million units sold to date, the only more anticipated android phone release is the next one; the Samsung Galaxy SIV. Well... It's here...

A few weeks ago we told you what the Samsung Galaxy SIV might include. Now, we have the details!

The screen comes in at a full 5 inches, up slightly from the Galaxy SIII. At 5.46 inches tall, 2.75 wide, and 0.31 thick, it's slightly narrower and thinner than the S III, and just 0.08 inches taller. It's also 0.9 ounces lighter at 4.6 ounces. They accomplished this by shrinking the bezel down. It's the same basic shape as the S III, though it's a little bit more like a rectangle.

The next generation smart phone features a full 1080p HD Super AMOLED screen. All that fancy talk means it's one of the brighest and best screens on the market. With 441 pixels per inch, you won't miss a thing from movies to detailed documents. Both the front and rear facing cameras come in as predicted with 13 megapixels in the rear and 2 (capable of 720p recording) in the front.
