Tim Bishop Is In Deep Trouble

A clear choice on Election Day. Non-Partisan Group rates Tim Bishop among "Top Most Corrupt Politicians in DC."

After weeks of being dogged by questions about his ethics and recently “earning” the dubious distinction of being named one of the 12 most corrupt Members of Congress by a leading, non-partisan watchdog group, Tim Bishop is in deep trouble.

The people of Suffolk County are finally learning how Congressman Bishop has abused his power and the system to benefit himself, while the people of Long Island he’s supposed to represent suffer with unemployment, rising property taxes and a foreclosure crisis.

Faced with this dark cloud hovering over his campaign, Mr. Bishop is, not surprisingly, responding by doing what career politicians on the verge of defeat always do – trying to smear their opponent with lies and misleading attacks.

In Congressman Bishop’s case, his dishonest attacks are focused on my career in business.  Ironic, considering he’s never created a job in his life – unless it was
for members of his own family at Southampton College.

Here is the truth:

I am a self-made businessman who came from working-class roots to build two American companies from the ground up and create more than 1,000 American jobs.

My current company, CloudBlue, has nothing to do with outsourcing.  We are an electronics recycling company that has been praised by none other than President Obama’s Administration for creating hundreds of green, American jobs.

My former company, OfficeTiger, created 4,000 jobs worldwide, including 750 here in the United States and 250 in New York.  Like scores of companies based in America, we were an international company who had employees across the globe.

As the grandson of Polish immigrants who came to this country looking for a better life, it’s offensive to hear Congressman Bishop accuse me of not caring about American workers or American jobs.  His attacks are simply not true and, worse, he knows it.

The voters of Suffolk County have a clear choice this November: Continue down the same path that has led to higher taxes, more spending and debt, and fewer jobs, OR move in a new direction and chart a different course.

My specific, 10-point jobs plan will create local jobs, boost small businesses and grow Long Island’s economy.  Together, we can build a brighter future.  With your vote on November 6th, I will work with you and people in both parties in Congress to do just that.

Glen: "Christians won't be able to talk about religion publicly; " You suffer from CPS = Christian Persecution Syndrome. No one has ever said that christians can't talk publicly about religion so you're full of it.

A simple equation: Fear of cultural and societal change + poor economic conditions + black guy in white house = hysteria and lack of critical thinking capabilities Read some of the above and apply this equation. Simple math folks.
