First Presidential Debate Wrap-up: Locals Come out For Big Night

From a Patch viewing party to the comment streams on several debate-related pieces, Northern Suffolk and East End locals had much to say about Obama and Romney's first match-up.

The First Presidential Debate between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney has spurred reactions across the country, from the host of light-hearted "Big Bird" tweets online to the string of pundits calling the first matchup for the former Massachusetts governor.

It's that same range of reactions that we saw this week in Northern Suffolk County and the East End of Long Island. Some came out to our Patch debate viewing party to share reactions in person, while many joined our love blogs and comment streams to keep the local conversation.
