As Election Day approaches, here are five races with implications in Three Village.

With Election Day a little more than a month away, candidates in and around Three Village are busy executing their campaigns. Of the many political races taking place across Long Island, here are five to watch that will have an impact on Three Village residents.

1. Town of Brookhaven: Republican Cecile Forte is challenging incumbent Democratic supervisor Mark Lesko in the race for Brookhaven Town supervisor.

2. Town of Brookhaven: Republican Ed Munoz is challenging incumbent Democratic councilman Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld in the race for Brookhaven Town's first council district seat.

3. Town of Brookhaven: Republican Vincent Martorana and Democrat Anthony Parlatore face off to become the town's Sixth District Court judge.

4. Suffolk County: Since Vivian Viloria-Fisher is term limited, are campaigning to win her fifth legislative district seat – Republican Anthony Moncayo and Democrat Kara Hahn.
